Antique clear pressed-glass kerosene footed hand / finger lamp with a broad font, shaped pedestal, and a molded eight-point star in the round base. The wide shoulder below the font with a depressed drip-catcher shoulder gives this lamp a particularly handsome profile.
The lamp measures approximately 6 3/8” high to the top of its brass No. 1 collar, with a 4 3/4” diameter base. I believe it dates to the late 19th century, although I have not identified a maker or exact pattern.
This listing is for the glass lamp with brass collar shown in the photographs. Burner and chimney are not included. Please examine the photos closely for its condition.
Nice antique condition with rubbing to the underside of the base from age and use and some irregular mfg. molds and seams consistent with an early kerosene lamp.
