This is a lovely rare WW1 prototype Acrow entrenching tool that was proposed to replace the standard one of the era.
It acts as a shovel, pickaxe and axe in one, adjusting in a clever manner.
The item retains plenty of the original blackened finish and the mechanism works very well.
This is NOT a weapon but a historical entrenching tool.
