Victorian silver vesta case with raised floral and scrolling foliage decoration on both sides. One cartouche has an engraved monogram and the opposite cartouche is plain. Rounded rectangular form with a hinged lid and a recessed ridged striker to the base.

- Hallmarked silver, dated 1876. - Inner rim stamped with an anchor, date letter and lion passant, alongside a maker's mark reading BR. - Length approximately 5 cm; please refer to the ruler photograph for scale. - Weight approximately 31.3g. - Includes one vesta case only; no box or papers.
Condition
Pre-owned antique with surface scratches, small marks, dents and tarnishing consistent with age and use. There is visible indentation to the side and darkening within the decoration, striker and interior. May benefit from careful cleaning.
The lid is shown open and closed in the photographs; hinge spring tension and closure security have not been tested. Repair history is unknown. Please see all photographs for condition and hallmark details.
