This week I'm offering a number of old baseball cards for sale. O=Pee-Chee (also known as OPC) was Topps' Canadian subsidiary, and from the mid-Sixties to the early Eighties, they would issue baseball card sets that would parallel the better-known American versions. Usually there would be slight differences in the card stock, colors, and player selection. These cards are considerably more difficult to find than the ones issued in the US by Topps. Early OPC sets are getting tougher and tougher to find, and the 1970 set of 546 cards is known to be particularly challenging. Featuring numbering identical to the first 546 cards of the Topps set, the backs are in both English and French. Here I have a good starter lot of 67 assorted cards (mild duplication), including one HOF (Hoyt Wilhelm), as well as many stars such as Jim Wynn, Sparky Lyle, Ricio Carty, and Larry Bowa's rookie card. This is not a top-grade lot, with most cards showing soft corners and many showing creases (see scans for condition - not all backs are pictured, I could only fit 12 pages of images!). Still, the cards exhibit well, and if you're looking to get started on this set, this will get you something to build on! Included are #7, 15-18, 27, 32, 35, 37, 39, 51, 57, 59, 60, 78, 85, 89-91, 94, 104, 108, 110, 112, 113(2), 116, 123(2), 126, 136, 144-146, 161, 163, 165, 178, 184, 187, 208, 209, 215, 226, 237, 239, 241, 247, 263, 274, 318, 319, 338(2), 368, 382, 395, 445, 475, 489, 491, 504, 515, 518(2), 524-525, and 539(2). This would be a terrific addition to any collection!
Shipping will be combined for multiple purchases.
