These are 1976 government-printed books, NOT original 1969 FBI memoranda, original top-secret files or originally signed documents. Names and signatures including those of FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover and Attorney General John N. Mitchell, dates, approval signatures, TOP SECRET labels and stamps shown in the photographs are facsimile reproductions PRINTED AS PART OF THE PUBLISHED HEARING DOCUMENTS. They are not hand-signed autographs or authenticated original manuscript annotations on these volumes. The materials reproduced within the books were made public as part of the historical hearings.
Both copies have tan soft paper wrappers with typical age toning, handling and rubbing; interior examples appear clean and readable in the supplied photographs. Domestic Intelligence has a small old penciled price near the title-page upper corner; Committee Proceedings has edge/corner wear visible near the lower title-page margin.
