The 1946 FA Cup Final resulted in a 4-1 victory AET for Derby County against Charlton Athletic; it was played at Wembley on 27th April 1946 in front of a crowd of 98,000. Consequently Derby were chosen to be the first club to be included in a new set of small Football Handbooks (18cm x 12cm) published by Sentinel Publications of London. Clearly condition - at first sight - is not great but, as they say, don't judge a book by its cover...this handbook is well-used with the covers suffering the most yet inside all pages are intact and give a comprehensive coverage of the club using articles/photos with an understandable emphasis on winning the FA Cup in 1946 - see selected photos re. condition/content.
