The Toshiba M-658 (also referenced as M-658C) is a vintage home electronics device, specifically a VHS videocassette recorder (VCR) or combo unit associated with the Toshiba VC-658 TV/VCR Remote Control.
Key details regarding the model include:
• Device Type: A vintage VHS tape player/recorder (part of Toshiba's M-series VCR lineup, similar to the 4-head Hi-Fi M-65 and M-656 models).
• Original Remote: It uses the Toshiba VC-658 remote control unit, which handles combined TV and VCR functions
This preowned unit is possibly working, since it powers on, but the tape compartment feeder won't accept tapes -- it's as if the chassis is misaligned.
