This is an R&S TUH Tuba Mouthpiece, a vintage Helleberg-style model.
R&S mouthpieces were associated with Woodwind & Brasswind, a major musical instrument retailer in the United States.
The TUH model is based on the classic Conn Helleberg-style design, featuring a deep, funnel-shaped cup.
Helleberg-style mouthpieces are known for their rich, full-bodied tone and are popular among tuba players seeking a deep and resonant sound.
This discontinued model may also appeal to vintage brass instrument enthusiasts and mouthpiece collectors.
