This is an antique Victorian-era ewer made of opaque blue cased glass (Bristol glass), dating to the late 19th century (circa 1880–1900).

The pitcher stands approximately 10 inches tall and features hand-applied floral decoration with gold gilt accents. The glass body mimics the appearance of porcelain, a common and intentional effect in Victorian Bristol glass production.

The piece is mouth-blown, evidenced by a rough pontil scar on the base, confirming hand production rather than later molded or porcelain manufacture. This form and decoration are consistent with Victorian Bristol or Bohemian art glass ewers of the period.

Condition is good for its age. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. Some wear is present to the gold trim along the rim, mostly the handle, and base, consistent with age and normal use. The painted decoration remains bright and well-preserved.

A genuine 19th-century decorative glass ewer with strong visual presence and authentic period construction.
