Vintage Pantova Hand Crocheted in Italy Woven Gold Metallic Raffia Straw Coat

This vintage Pantova hand crocheted in Italy woven gold metallic raffia straw coat dates from the 1960s. It is made of a hand crocheted beige raffia straw with woven gold metallic threads and beige rayon fabric backing lining. This gorgeous gold long loose fitting evening coat has decorative scalloped edging, a fold over wide lapel collar, 3/4 length sleeves, side slit pockets, is fully lined in rayon and has a "Pantova Hand Crocheted in Italy" label size 10 tag sewn inside. The coat measures 43 inches long, with a 42 inch chest, 40 inch waist, 40 inch hips and 16 inch long sleeves. It is in excellent condition. This is truly an amazing piece of wearable art!
