Vintage AHM – Associated Hobby Manufacturers, Inc. illustrated model railroad and hobby catalog, likely dating from the late 1960s based on the products and delivery dates shown inside. A great piece of early HO-scale model railroad advertising and reference material.

The colorful front cover features Union Pacific No. 4005 Big Boy artwork with the classic AHM “Fidelity Economy Quality” logo. The original 50¢ price marking and a vintage store sale-price sticker remain on the front cover.

Inside are approximately 60+ pages of illustrated products, specifications and original retail prices. Railroad-related sections include diesel, steam and articulated locomotives, passenger and freight cars, track, accessories, trolley systems and more. Examples pictured include Rivarossi Big Boy, Cab Forward, Berkshire and Hudson steam locomotives, along with diesel locomotives and a wide variety of HO freight equipment.

The catalog goes well beyond trains and includes other vintage hobby products such as Minikits military vehicles and tanks, Roadmaster die-cast cars, Cougar model airplane and boat engines, cable car systems, trolley buses, radio control equipment and other hobby accessories.

An especially nice feature is the original correction/errata slip still present inside the catalog, correcting several stock numbers and prices—including the Big Boy listing.

Published by Associated Hobby Manufacturers, Inc., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The back cover features colorful Nickel Plate Road steam locomotive artwork.

Vintage used condition with expected handling, edge and cover wear from age and storage. There may be small marks or other signs of use. The pages remain colorful and provide an excellent snapshot of the model railroad hobby during the era. Please review the photographs carefully for condition and examples of the contents.

A fun collectible for AHM, Rivarossi and vintage HO train collectors, as well as a useful reference for identifying early models, stock numbers and original retail prices.
