Atkinson Oil Co. Nickel Anti-Seize is a specialist copper-free anti-seize compound for demanding metal assemblies where seizure, galling and metal-to-metal contact need to be controlled.
Particularly suitable for compatible stainless steel and nickel-alloy components, as well as mixed-metal assemblies where a robust separating compound is required.
With an operating temperature range from -55°C to +1400°C, the compound suits extreme-temperature threaded connections, high-heat assemblies and demanding maintenance applications.
Especially useful where copper-based compounds may be unsuitable, including highly caustic, acidic and ammonia-containing environments.
Clean and dry the mating surfaces. Apply a thin, even film to the threaded or contact surface, assemble to the equipment manufacturer's instructions and wipe away excess. Reapply whenever the joint is dismantled.
Anti-seize affects thread friction and tightening torque – where torque is safety-critical, use the manufacturer's lubricated torque procedure. Do not use on brakes, clutches or other friction surfaces. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Keep out of reach of children.
