*NO SHIPPING TO CHINA, DO NOT BUY as you will be Unable to Pay** with Early 1900s Gothic Black Mourning or Walking Skirt, Point d'esprit Dotted Tulle Lace & Silk Chiffon/Taffeta, Magnificent Embroidered Valenciennes Tape Lace Trim beginning at the upper thighs, 3 horizontal bands. This ensemble originally included the bodice but it was completely in shreds, but if you happen to have another Black Bodice from this era, this skirt would be a lovely compliment. INCREDIBLE CONSTRUCTION, The Skirt has an integral Silk Taffeta Petticoat which has Wide Accordion Pleating at the hem, PLUS another Ruffled Lining Layer of Sheer Fine Silk Chiffon, I've never seen anything as lavish as the workmanship on this skirt. Wide Pleated Silk Sash which buttons at the rear, the actual closures are hooks/eyes. The Skirt is Trained at the back and It Literally "Rustles" when moved, not to mention it has an additional Silk Peau de Soie Petticoat so you're going to get some fabulous fullness here. The Petticoat was Bustled at one time, the stitches let out though, so now the waist is very large in comparison to the skirt. It also has accordion Ruffles at the Hem & is also Trained. Skirt Measures Waist 31", Hip 48", Length Waist to Hem in front 42 1/2", in Rear 47". Skirt is in Wearable Condition, even the Ruffles at street level are solid with no shreds or street dirt. Some tears to the Silk Chiffon Base Layer, an area of the tape lace which has separated from the tulle (pic), and another tear as shown to the Tulle (pic). A few small holes in the Tulle as shown. Small area at the waist sash needs re-tacked up (see pic). The Separate Silk Peau de Soie Petticoat is in Very Good Shape, Small shred below the waistband & several additional small shreds at the body. Petticoat measures Waist 35", Hip 58", Length waist to hem in front 41", at rear 49". There are remnants of stitches where the bustle let down so it will be easy for you to see this when you want to bustle it back up...BUY-IT-NOW!
