This vintage Meadowbrook California blue boucle knit beanie skull cap pompom hatpin dates from the 1940s. The hat is made of a light blue boucle knit textured looped yard nubby curly woven fabric. This charming small skull cap beanie brimless style hat has matching blue boucle knit large round pompom hatpin pair pinned onto the front and is fully lined with a Meadowbrook of California label Size 22 tag sewn inside. The hat measures 20 inches inside crown circumference. It is in good condition, with some slight faint fade discoloration (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of millinery wearable art!
