Vintage Harpur Inc. Fisher Building Detroit Menswear Fishing Nets Print Rayon Shirt

This vintage Harpur Inc. Fisher Building Detroit menswear fishing nets print rayon shirt dates from the 1940s. It is made of a brown rayon fabric with a orange and white novelty print design schools of fish caught in fishing nets. This retro rayon novelty print men's button down shirt has double breast pockets,a loop collar, long full sleeves with button cuffs, mother of pearl button closures down the front, is unlined and has a "Harpur Incorporated Fisher Buliding Detroit" menswear store label Size Small 14-14 1/2 tag sewn inside. The shirt measures 26 inches long, with a 40 inch chest, 16 inch back, 14 inch neck and 24 inch long sleeves. It is in good as-is condition, with a replaced plastic button sewn on the bottom, some slight fraying along the collar edgings and a mended repair hole under one button which is hidden underneath when closed (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of menswear wearable art!
