The Salomon X Ultra 5 MID GTX is the perfect companion for anyone heading out on demanding hiking trails who values comfort, stability and weather protection.
This hiking shoe offers an improved fit that minimises pressure points and provides a comfortable feel over long distances. The upper combines robust Matryx fabric, known for its high abrasion resistance and breathability, with a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane. This combination reliably keeps your feet dry in rain and wet conditions, while moisture can escape from the inside to the outside at the same time.
The proven Advanced Chassis, combined with Active Support, ensures optimal stability and protection on rough terrain and provides lateral stability without restricting the foot's natural freedom of movement. The EnergyCell midsole delivers effective cushioning that absorbs shocks and softens the impact on hard surfaces, which increases comfort especially on long tours.
The All-Terrain Contagrip outsole with its aggressive lug pattern ensures excellent grip and traction on a wide variety of surfaces - whether on dry paths, muddy trails or slippery rock. The SensiFit system wraps the foot precisely and offers additional hold and security. A protective toe cap and a reinforced heel round off the package and make the X Ultra 5 MID GTX a reliable and comfortable hiking shoe for demanding adventures.
