Ghost-Black Body • Intense Devil Red • Avatar Metallic Accents • Exact Fish Pictured
This exceptional Male Halfmoon Red Devil Avatar Ghost Betta features a dramatic combination of an extremely dark body, intense blood-red finnage and subtle Avatar-style metallic accents.
His body displays a predominantly deep charcoal-black to ghost-black coloration, creating a powerful contrast against the brilliant red found throughout his fins.
The body remains remarkably dark and clean, with only a few isolated electric-blue metallic scales visible along the upper flank. These small flashes of brilliant metallic color add an unusual Avatar influence without overwhelming the dark Ghost appearance.
His finnage is the centerpiece of this fish. The large Halfmoon-style caudal displays intense blood red to crimson coloration radiating outward through the fin rays.
A beautiful smoky charcoal to black outer edge surrounds portions of the caudal, dorsal and anal fins, producing a dramatic dark frame around the brilliant red interior.
The anal fin continues the same fiery red pattern with dark smoky edging, while the elongated ventral fins display intense scarlet-red coloration.
The combination of Ghost black, Devil red and isolated Avatar-blue metallic accents gives this male an exceptionally bold appearance and inspired the name Red Devil Avatar Ghost.
Bettas may continue developing in coloration, metallic coverage and finnage as they mature.
Dark and metallic Bettas can also appear noticeably different depending on lighting and viewing angle. His body may appear jet black, charcoal, smoky black or dark graphite under different aquarium lighting.
The isolated metallic scales may appear electric blue, turquoise or icy blue depending on the direction and intensity of the light.
Bettas may temporarily appear darker, paler or less colorful during shipping due to stress, darkness and travel. This is normal.
After proper acclimation and settling into a clean, warm aquarium, coloration normally begins returning within approximately 48 hours to one week.

Purchasing more than one Betta? Take advantage of our combined shipping:
In many cases, you can purchase a second Betta for the same shipping cost as one fish.
Live fish are normally shipped Monday and Tuesday to reduce the possibility of packages being held at a carrier facility over the weekend.
During holiday weeks or severe weather conditions, our shipping schedule may be adjusted for the safety of the fish.
During very hot or cold weather, we recommend requesting HOLD FOR PICKUP at the carrier facility.
This helps prevent the package from spending unnecessary time inside a delivery vehicle or sitting outside your home exposed to extreme temperatures.
Please do not be alarmed if your Betta appears darker, pale or less colorful immediately after arrival. Shipping can be stressful, and temporary color changes are normal.
Allow your new Betta time to properly acclimate to the temperature and water conditions of its new aquarium.
Bettas are resilient travelers and can safely go several days without food during transportation.
