Personally Signed  Senior First Officer Barbara Harmer Female Concorde Pilot. Barbara Joined the Concorde Fleet in 1992 and her elevation in 1993 to First Officer on Concorde Barbara Harmer, who left school at 15 and became a trainee hairdresser. A few decades later, she became the first woman to pilot Concorde, after obtaining her type rating on the supersonic jet on March 25, 1993  Died 20 February 2011 age 57.
