CONTAX T2
Titan Silver
Point & Shoot Compact 35mm Film Camera
with Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* 38mm F2.8 Lens
Comes in Box with Soft Case and Strap

Key Features

A Titanium Icon with True Zeiss Soul

Released in 1990, the CONTAX T2 is one of the rare compact film cameras that genuinely earns its legendary status. With its cool titanium alloy body and a true Carl Zeiss lens at its heart, it launched as a premium compact at a premium price. Still, its performance and design made it a long-selling classic, and it remained in demand for years.

What makes the T2 so special is how little it compromises. Despite its compact size, it is built with high-grade components and mechanisms that feel closer to a serious SLR than a typical point-and-shoot. That is why many photographers call it the “finished form” of the compact camera, and why it helped define the luxury compact category.

Highlights:
  • Sapphire glass viewfinder for exceptional clarity and long-term durability.
  • Carl Zeiss Sonnar prime lens, 5 elements in 4 groups, built with an SLR-like optical design, delivering images that can stand proudly beside much larger cameras.
If you want a compact film camera that feels truly engineered, not just styled, the CONTAX T2 remains a masterpiece worth experiencing.
