Savinelli "Saint Nicholas" Rusticated bent Billiard Estate Pipe — Made in Italy
A Savinelli estate pipe from their annual "Saint Nicholas" limited holiday series — a collectible line Savinelli has released each year since 2013, with a unique colour palette on the finish, bands and stem for every edition.
DETAILS
- Shank stamped "SAVINELLI SAINT NICHOLAS" with the Savinelli "S" shield logo
- Bent Billiard shape
- Deep rusticated finish over briar
- Black acrylic stem stamped "HAND MADE" (fainted) and marked with the Savinelli shield logo — original, matched stem
- Triple accent band at the shank/stem union: silver ring, red acrylic, gold ring
- 9 mm filter bore
Dating note: The shape number on the shank is faint/worn and not fully legible, so I can't confirm the exact edition year with certainty. Based on the black stem styling (Savinelli's Saint Nicholas line moved to fully coloured acrylic stems from around 2019 onward), this appears to be an earlier release, likely from the 2013–2016 period.
Condition — please read before buying:
This is a well-used estate pipe, sold as is, not restored:
- Established cake buildup inside the bowl (not reamed) — a normal, easily addressed feature of a smoked pipe, shown clearly in photos
- Tarnish/oxidation on the nickel band and residue in the mortise — cosmetic, cleanable
- Light surface scratching on the stem from normal handling
- No cracks, no burn-through, no charring on the rim, no bite-through on the button — structurally sound
Sold as a vintage/estate collectible.
The pipe you will receive, unless other way stated, has not been cleaned, restored or sanitized. Needs cleaning before use.
