done by W.F. Yeames A.R.A. Pinxt

This is a 10-1/2 x 14-1/2 etching done on a steel engraving plate.  It was part of a portfolio that was done in New York City around the turn of the centruy.  Engravers made these engravings of art masterpieces. They are a very limited edition. Both of these are early 1900's. They are English scenes with wonderful characters. They were valued at $75 - $100. each. Nice heavy paper.  Suitable for framing. They are in plastic sleeves which we did not remove when photographed. These would be great hung together! Could be great in a bathroom. Ask questions.
