An attractive Antique Crystal Scent Bottle.
featuring what appears to be a lead crystal body,
sculpted with a broad base and conical shape,
it features a simple cut pattern of foliage with cleverly cross hatched flowers,
which not only create an unusual decoration but also provide grip to hold the piece,
it is topped with a sterling silver collar with London hallmark,
featuring the lion passant and date letter 'O' for 1929 assay.
alongside is a makers mark which appears to be G & A,
but which we have been unable to identify.
Stands approximately 11 cm's in height and 9.5 cm's in diameter.
Bottle is in good condition,
stopper is missing, there is a little distortion to collar,
with a small crack on the inner neck which is not uncommon,
inside in the bottom is a little residue within from use,
but otherwise in good order, as shown in the pictures.
All proceeds from this sale go to charity,
supporting the work of the Devon Air Ambulance.
