Quick-Open
One Handed
Belts To 5cm
Or Molle

A quick-open individual first aid pouch in 1000D nylon, with a split interior so you can keep things separated and find them by feel. Pull the tab and the pouch opens out and presents its contents in one movement – which is the whole point of a pouch built this way, because the moment you need it is the moment you have one hand free and no patience for a zip. Mounts on Molle webbing or slides onto a belt up to 5cm wide. This is the empty pouch alone: no dressings, no medical contents of any kind are included.

Key Features

  • Quick-open pull tab – the pouch opens and lays its contents out in one motion, which can be done one-handed
  • Split interior – keeps items separated so you can find the one you want without emptying the lot out
  • 1000D nylon shell – a heavier, more abrasion-resistant fabric than the 600D used on lighter pouches
  • Molle or belt mounting – goes on a vest, a carrier, a rucksack strap or a belt up to 5cm wide
  • Pack it the way you want – an empty pouch lets you carry what you are actually trained to use, rather than a generic assortment
  • Comes off as a unit – the whole pouch can be handed to someone else or moved between kit in seconds
  • Sensible outdoors kit – shooting, stalking, camping, climbing, bushcraft, workshops and vehicles

This is an empty pouch, and that matters – please read it before you buy. You are buying the bag. No dressings, bandages, gloves, tape, shears, tourniquet or any other medical item is supplied with it, and the pouch on its own will not help anybody. You will need to stock it yourself. Equally important: carrying first aid equipment is not the same as being able to use it. Some of what people put in a pouch like this – a tourniquet above all – can do real harm if applied wrongly, so get proper training before you carry one and know what each item in your kit is for. A first aid kit supports emergency care; it does not replace it. In an emergency in the UK, call 999 first and treat while help is on its way.
Mounting it and looking after it. Put it somewhere you can reach with either hand, not just your strong one – the hand you would normally use may be the one that is hurt, and a pouch mounted where only your right hand can get to it is half a pouch. Front of the belt or on the side of a carrier generally beats the small of the back. Tell the people you are out with where it is and what is in it, because they may be the ones opening it rather than you. Then keep on top of it: sterile dressings carry expiry dates, and heat and damp degrade them, so look through the pouch a couple of times a year, replace anything out of date or water-marked, and restock anything you have used straight away rather than meaning to later. A pouch left in a hot car or a damp shed all summer will not be in the condition you are imagining when you finally open it.
Please note: this listing is for the pouch only and contains no medical items of any kind. Nothing in this listing is medical advice; the mention of items commonly carried is descriptive of what the pouch is designed to hold and is not a recommendation about what you should carry or how to treat anyone. Please check the dimensions and the belt width against your own kit before ordering and ask if you are unsure – the pouch suits belts up to 5cm wide, so a wider belt will not pass through it. The shell is water-resistant rather than waterproof: it will shed a shower, but it is not a sealed container, so consider keeping sterile items in their own sealed packaging inside it. Colours and camouflage shades vary between production batches and between screens. Spot clean or hand wash and dry naturally; do not tumble dry. The pouch is supplied plain, with no service insignia or lettering. Not a toy; keep a stocked pouch and anything sharp inside it out of the reach of children.
