A pair of brown mugs from Holkham Pottery, the studio pottery that ran at Holkham Hall in Norfolk. I picked them up from a vintage shop. Both are stamped Holkham England on the base, and one has the shape number T106 (it's fainter on the other). I think they're from the 1960s/70s but can't say for certain.

The handle is moulded into the body as a scooped-out finger hole, so they sit nicely in the hand. Glossy brown glaze with a bit of speckle. The glaze varies slightly between the two, one is a little lighter and more speckled.
