Octiduana Exercitia, ad usum cleri per Dioecesin Augustanam (Eight-day spiritual exercises for the use of the clergy in the Diocese of Augsburg)

Compiled for the clergy under Bishop Joseph of Hesse-Darmstadt (Joseph von Hessen-Darmstadt), and often linked in editions of the period with works or oversight by figures like the theologian Eusebio Amort.

Published in Augsburg (Augustae Vindelicorum), and printed by Typis Joannis Michaƫlis Labhart, p.m. Viduae (The press of the widow of Johann Michael Labhart), 1745.

The binding has the appearance of vellum but I believe this is a parchment binding with blind tooling to both boards and four raised bands to the spine. Also with title piece to spine. Lacks front endpaper. Title page and all text present. Title page in red and black. [xiv],198pp.

CONDITION
The binding is good with a little loss to the top of the spine. The vellum clasps for holding the book shut have a piece missing from each so no longer work. Title page very good. All text pages good throughout with some light foxing to a few page (see examples in images provided. Overall a very good copy.
