1930-50 era RUSSIAN GRAMOPHONE 1930-50 era - PORTABLE WIND UP - COMPLETE - WORKS   -  This vintage Russian made gramophone is similar to the portable HMV or RCA Model 101 or 102. It is Russian so the lettering on the diaphragm  unit with needle is Cyrillic. This machine is known as a Soviet era patefon, Model PT-3, likely manufactured by the Severny Press in Leningrad and designed to play 78 RPM shellac records. I don't know much about it but the handle for winding is present, works and winds smoothly - the platter turns and seems to work fine. There is dust and age on it, sitting in an attic for years  - it will clean up nicely. The nickel or chrome parts are pretty and have no loss or rust, The case is excellent except the lid requires adjusting OR - it may just be the latch that holds up the lid, this has slipped from its correct position and I cant seem to get it on properly  -  this is a minor thing  -  the lid fits as normal, the case outer latch secures the machine and the carry handle is fine. An unusual item, found in a small shop in central Pennsylvania    -  size is 7 1/2" x 10" x 5" high when closed. Buyer pays 19.95 safe bubble shipping and tracking in USA
