Vintage archival unisex Ralph Lauren crossbody camera bag, crafted from chestnut/cognac brown glove-tanned leather and features a distinctive brass hook-and-loop closure engraved with "R.L.” a very small Polo symbol, and “67." The bag has a rectangular bag structure with a front flap pocket and a main zippered compartment. Excellent vintage condition with beautiful patina to the leather, which is soft, supple, and thick. Thick, neat stitching with the heritage equestrian aesthetic characteristic of the archival Ralph Lauren pieces. Original workshop stamps on the inside of the flap and pocket as shown, characteristic of Ralph Lauren bags made in South Korea in the 1970’s to 80’s. Zippers are YKK and all hardware is heavy and appears to be solid brass. Zippers and closures work smoothly. The interior is unlined - showing the reverse of the leather, with a suede pocket and canvas piping. Adjustable strap - 22” strap drop as shown. Smoke free home.
