All electronic modules and components are thoroughly tested and verified to be in working condition prior to removal from donor vehicles.
1998 and newer vehicles may have factory anti-theft or immobilizer systems that can complicate the installation of used ECM (Engine Control Module) units.
Replacing an ECM typically requires programming, initialization, or relearning by a qualified automotive technician or high-tech locksmith.
Please verify installation, programming, and reprogramming requirements for your specific vehicle before purchasing.
We do not provide installation support, programming, or diagnostic assistance.
The buyer is responsible for ensuring their technician or locksmith has the proper tools, equipment, and knowledge to install and program the module correctly.
Incorrect installation or failure to properly program or initialize the module may cause it to appear defective when the module itself is not defective.
