Epiphone FT-79N 1964 Texan Used Acoustic Guitar

We have received a used FT-79N 1964 Texan from Terada Musical Instruments as a consignment item. This model is a reproduction of the 1964 Texan, famously used by Paul McCartney during the recording of "Yesterday." The Texan is a well-known model within the Epiphone lineup, available in various price ranges and countries of manufacture.

The 648mm scale length contributes to the Texan's unique appeal, resulting in a rich and vibrant tone. The guitar features a carefully finished lacquer coating, a deep black fretboard and bridge, and a fine-grained, glossy top wood.

Regarding the guitar's condition: There are two dents on the top and some scratches on the case, but neither affects playability. The nut and frets have plenty of life left, the neck is straight, and the truss rod has ample adjustment range in both directions, making it ready for immediate use.

The string height is 2.5mm on the 6th string side and 2.0mm on the 1st string side at the 12th fret, and with the adjustable saddle, there is still room for further adjustment. 【Specifications】 Neck: Mahogany Scale: 648mm Nut: 41mm
