Harris Tweed Women's Collarless Wool Jacket – Black with Houndstooth, Size XL (UK 14)

A smart collarless jacket trimmed and lined in genuine Harris Tweed: black-and-white houndstooth cloth carrying the official Orb certification label of the Harris Tweed Authority. By law (Harris Tweed Act 1993), only cloth hand-woven by islanders at their own homes in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, from pure virgin wool dyed and spun there, can be called Harris Tweed. The Orb trademark has protected it since 1909. This cloth was produced by Kenneth Mackenzie Ltd of Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, one of the oldest Harris Tweed mills, making the cloth since the early 1900s. A black wool body, ornate silver buttons and a softly curved hem make it an elegant, classic piece for workwear or smart-casual outfits.
