Vintage, hand-woven wool elephant tapestry rug or wall hanging. It is crafted using dense, textured, naturally dyed wool yarn on a flat-weave backing, complete with braided and knotted fringe trim along the top and bottom borders.
The front looks like the back - perhaps made in Africa... Morocco
The ears may look black in my photos but they are dyed a very deep indigo blue
