This 1995 Fleer Ultra Gold Medallion Hakeem Olajuwon #70 has earned a BGS 9 Mint grade. Gold Medallion was Ultra's parallel set, and this example from the height of the Dream's back-to-back championship era is a strong pickup for Rockets collectors. Hakeem Olajuwon starred at the University of Houston before the Houston Rockets selected him 1st overall in the 1984 NBA Draft. He won back-to-back NBA championships in 1994 and 1995, the 1994 MVP, two Finals MVPs, two Defensive Player of the Year awards, and 12 All-Star selections, finishing his career with the Toronto Raptors. Olajuwon is a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame (HOF) inductee (2008).
