Up for audio are CUSTOM created SLIM RED DSMC2 Base Expanders. The internal boards are from stock RED DSMC2 Base Expanders and give the functionality of a standard DSMC2 Base Expander minus HDMI and requires XLR power. This does not support HDMI but includes BNC FOR 3G-SDI (HD-SDI) on the unit itself plus a custom detachable snake cable that provides all the interface connections including XLR power, BNC CTRL and BNC SYNC ports (for Timecode and Genlock), as well as a 3.5mm microphone and 3.5mm line-level headphone out. These were custom made for stereo capture where cameras are put side by side as close as possible. It includes a custom cable snake the support the interface connections noted above.
