1966 Ford Thunderbird convertible. Here is a very nice, solid, and great running and driving '66 Thunderbird convertible. The body is in excellent condition. The paint is very good, not perfect, but very good. The chrome and stainless is all there and in great shape as well. The underside was undercoated back in the day and is very very solid and correct. This 60's cruiser runs and drives well with 78,708 miles and rides very comfy in the original and correct Burgundy interior. The interior is in excellent condition as seen in the pics. The 390 V-8 4bbl starts right up sounds smooth and runs great. Exhaust is quiet. The top works well with a new top pump motor installed about 2 months ago. The black top is in nice shape but the rear plastic window has UV browning and is a bit brittle. Can be easily replaced (the zip-out style). The radial tires ride nice but are older. The doors open and shut solidly and the hood opens and stays up and closes solidly. The engine compartment is original and complete. Everything on the car works well that I recently used except the passenger's door power window is very slow. The other power windows all work, even the rare power vent windows. Radio works well and also the power antenna. Power seat works. Gauges all work. The red ribbon speedometer works. The sequential rear turn signals work and so do the amber little lights in the small pods on the front tops of both front fenders. Horn-yes. wipers-yes. I haven't tried the cruise control or filled the washer-wiper bag and tried that.
This is a very nice, solid, long and low, '66 Thunderbird convertible that runs and drives well. Sold in as -is condition. Inspection is available.
