For sale is my Audiostorm HotBox 120 valve amplifier power attenuator, 8Ω version. A compact, solidly constructed attenuator designed to reduce speaker volume while allowing a valve amplifier to operate at higher output levels.

Important impedance information
This is an 8Ω version and should be used with a compatible amplifier output.
Audiostorm has confirmed that, with attenuation engaged, the HotBox presents its nominal 8Ω load to the amplifier and can accommodate speaker cabinets of different impedances. In bypass mode, the connected speaker cabinet's impedance is passed directly to the amplifier.
Please check compatibility with your amplifier before purchasing.
Condition and sale
Excellent working condition. Tested on 10 October 2026 and operating correctly.
Good used cosmetic condition, with minor surface marks consistent with normal use.
Please examine photographs, which show the actual item for sale.
The attenuator has been carefully cleaned with isopropyl alcohol.
Only the attenuator is included. Speaker cables are not included.
Reason for sale: Changing to a 16Ω attenuator to suit my current amplifier.
