Four-In-A-Chord - Shake, Rattle & Roll / Mambo Italiano

An original-era British 78 RPM shellac single from Embassy Records, featuring two well-known songs of the 1950s performed by Four-In-A-Chord. Embassy was a British budget record label known for releasing affordable cover versions of contemporary hits. This single brings together the rock-and-roll favourite Shake, Rattle & Roll, written by Charles Calhoun (Jesse Stone), and the Italian-American novelty hit Mambo Italiano, written by Bob Merrill.

Both recordings feature vocal performances with novelty accompaniment, making this an appealing period piece for collectors of early rock and roll, 1950s popular music and British 78 RPM records.
