Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Indiana Glass "Hen on a Nest" covered dish in crystal clear pressed glass. This timeless piece of American glassware features detailed textured feathers on the nesting hen top and a classic coordinating base with a smooth, unbeaded rim.

Perfect as a countertop candy dish, trinket holder, or a standout addition to any vintage glass collection or farmhouse decor!

• Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Glass is clean and clear. Please examine photos for full details on condition.

NOTE: There is a lap mark at the bottom of the nest. A lap mark (often called a shear mark, shear line, or cold mold mark) is a purely cosmetic manufacturing flaw found in vintage pressed glassware.

It looks like a faint, thin line, crease, or wrinkle on the surface of the glass. It is frequently mistaken for a crack or a scratch, but it is actually part of the glass-making process. See last photograph.

• Item will be packed carefully and securely for safe transit.
