Both have hard (hardboard and card board) covers possibly added at a later date for protection.

One of Mid Wales is in very good condition for age and is fabric backed and hard board covers.

One is Ordnance Survey of Ireland and is in poor condition having been tape repaired in the past which has leached onto adjoining sheets. This one is on paper only with no fabric backing and has cardboard covers. This one could be a good restoration project.
