Only Sterling 925, for Life's Most Beautiful Moments.
Over 1,000 heirloom-quality sterling silver (925) pieces in stock - from Tiffany & Co. classics and Native American jewelry to fine serve ware, Christmas ornaments, and timeless keepsakes.
Hand-selected for craftsmanship, rarity, and lasting beauty. Each piece tells a story you can share today, gift with pride, and treasure for generations.
These signed John Chavez Navajo earrings each center an oval turquoise cabochon in a smooth bezel, ringed by a twisted silver rope and set on a gently domed oval plate. Deep radiating stamps fan out on either side of the stone like a pair of wings, and their darkened recesses stand out sharply against the bright polished rim. The hand stampwork, twisted wire, and close bezel are classic Navajo silversmithing, and the two earrings are stamped and set as a true matched pair.
The turquoise is a soft robin's egg blue with fine golden-brown matrix lines, and one stone also shows a small tan patch of host rock near its edge. That gentle blue sits beautifully against the oxidized stampwork and the bright silver rope.
John Chavez is a Navajo silversmith who marks his work JJ. A pair of his JJ-marked, bezel-set turquoise earrings from the David Farin Collection has been offered at auction by Lion and Unicorn, and other JJ-marked examples include rings set with turquoise and coral and a pendant inlaid with pink mother-of-pearl.
Each earring is stamped JJ .925 on the back, and the butterfly clutches are marked 925.
