Nice detail in this needlepoint - the stitching is even and care was taken to use smaller size stitches for the finer detail of the angel's face. The red top is blank - a name or date could easily be worked across it if you care to personalize it.
40-50 years old & pre-owned vintage. It has a few very small threadbare spots that are pointed out in the photos in enlarged pics as they are noticed only on close inspection. May be moth nibbles in the wool yarn used to work the design. No smoke odor, no holes, tears, or stains.
