This is the 41st Edition, First Printing of Motor's Auto Repair Manual, published 1969 by The Hearst Corporation, edited by Louis C. Forier S.A.E. This was the shop bible for American garages from the 1930s onward, and this particular volume covers American cars through the late 1960s with detailed labor times, parts numbers, and pricing for makes including Ford, Mercury, Mustang, Falcon, Cougar, Cadillac El Dorado, and more. Hardcover with cloth spine. Included inside as found ephemera: a 1965 Pontiac GTO performance and convenience options sheet listing the 360 HP engine, Wide-Track, Tiger-Pontiac GTO performance packages and option codes, and a flat-rate labor price conversion card. The GTO sheet alone is a sweet piece of muscle car history. This is a working reference book that also functions as a time capsule of mid-century American automotive culture.
