A wonderfully detailed framed needlepoint tapestry depicting a lively continental street scene.

 

The design features figures strolling along a tree-lined street, colourful buildings and café awnings, with a particularly striking figure dressed in red in the foreground. The rich greens, blues, reds and ochre tones give the piece a lovely atmospheric, almost painterly quality.
