This is for a United States Army M1942 World War II Steel Horizontal Seam Canteen with Black Bakelite Cap with Chain. Marked "U.S., S.M. Co., 1944". Southeastern Metals Company. It is in good used  collectible condition. It has scuff marks, scrapes, dings and stains. It measures approx. 7" x 5" x 3 1/8".
