Offered here from the dougfinds collection of
curated fashion, accessories, clothing, collectibles, and unique gifts is
this Orion StarBlast 4.5
EQ Equatorial Reflector Telescope.
This compact Newtonian
reflector features a 113mm (4.5") aperture, 450mm focal length and fast
f/4.0 optical system, mounted on an adjustable German equatorial mount and
aluminum tripod.
Included as pictured:
The telescope was
assembled and inspected prior to listing. The focuser, mount adjustments and
tripod hardware operate, and an outdoor terrestrial viewing test produced a
clear recognizable image through the optical system — see actual
viewing-test photo included in the listing.
The primary mirror is
present and reflective as shown in the detailed photographs. Please review the
close-up photos of the optical tube, mirror, finder, focuser, mount, controls,
tripod and eyepiece for the best representation of condition.
Condition: Pre-owned and in very nice overall cosmetic condition with
normal minor evidence of previous use. No significant damage was observed
during inspection. Because this is a precision optical instrument, fine
collimation/alignment may be desired by the new owner after shipping and setup.
PLEASE NOTE: Only the accessories specifically shown and described are
included. No additional eyepieces, manuals, original packaging or accessories
are included unless pictured.
A very nice
complete-looking setup for a beginning or intermediate astronomy enthusiast,
backyard stargazing, lunar viewing, or someone looking for an affordable
compact equatorial reflector.
Please review all photographs
carefully, as they are considered part of the description and provide the best
representation of this item's condition.
