Vintage English Art Deco EPNS silver-plated teapot, believed to date from the 1930s–1940s.

An attractive period piece featuring a distinctive rounded rectangular body, angular black handle, stepped pedestal base and hinged lid with matching black finial.

The underside is stamped EPNS, Made in England and Guaranteed Hard Soldered, indicating electroplated nickel silver with durable hard-soldered construction.

The substantial design is reminiscent of traditional British hotel and restaurant silverware, with strong Art Deco styling.

The teapot displays considerable age-related wear, including extensive loss of silver plating, tarnishing, surface marks and discolouration. These give the piece a wonderfully timeworn appearance, particularly suited to vintage, industrial and eclectic interiors.

Substantial wear throughout, including areas of exposed underlying metal, tarnishing, scratches and discolouration consistent with age and use.

Hinged lid and black handle present.

Offered primarily as a decorative or collectable vintage piece rather than for food or drink use.
