Experience the exceptional playability and sleek design of the Ibanez SR5 bass guitar. This model features a lightweight, 3D arched body with elegant curves, providing a comfortable and responsive playing experience. The slim, 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck offers excellent stability and a smooth feel, enhanced by a matte finish on the back for effortless movement.
The fingerboard is crafted from durable Jatoba, a dense tropical hardwood with a rich brown and reddish hue, comparable in hardness to rosewood. It features white dot inlays and medium frets, with 24 frets for versatile playing.
Equipped with Ibanez's custom electronics, this bass boasts a 3-band EQ combined with a 3-way Power Tap switch, allowing for a wide range of tonal options. In Tap Mode (single coil), enjoy punchy, articulate sounds; in Series Mode (humbucking), experience powerful, warm tones; and in Power Tap Mode, blend the clarity of single coils with the depth of humbuckers for dynamic sound shaping.
The PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups deliver rich, expressive tones with excellent response across low and high frequencies. The Accu-cast B120 bridge ensures optimal sustain and easy string and intonation adjustments, with a design that minimizes interference between saddles.
Includes a soft case and warranty. Please note a minor scratch near the shield jack, which does not affect playability.
