Aechmea nudicaulis ‘Tabuleirensis’ – Rare Brazilian Variegated Bromeliad – Established Offset

Description

A spectacular and highly collectible Brazilian bromeliad, Aechmea nudicaulis ‘Tabuleirensis’ is admired for its striking longitudinal variegation and spectacular upright inflorescence. Mature plants produce brilliant scarlet-red floral bracts topped with a dense spike of vibrant golden-yellow flowers, creating one of the most dramatic floral displays in the bromeliad world.

Native to Brazil, this distinctive form was formerly known as Aechmea nudicaulis var. cuspidata forma tabuleirensis and is now recognized as Aechmea nudicaulis ‘Tabuleirensis’, following the Bromeliad Cultivar Register revision by Derek Butcher (Registration Document 4/2017).
