Vintage British Surveying Instruments – Large Job Lot
Interesting collection of vintage surveying equipment, including instruments by Cooke, Troughton & Simms, Hilger & Watts and E.R. Watts, with various original wooden, metal and leather carrying cases.

Wooden fitted case with brass plaque marked “N.S.H.E.B. ALLT-NA-LAIRIGE PROJECT”
The NSHEB marking relates to the North of Scotland Hydro-Electric Board's Allt-na-Lairige hydro-electric project, giving the collection particularly interesting British engineering provenance.
All are vintage used instruments showing considerable age-related wear, paint loss, marks and deterioration to some of the leather cases. They have not been calibrated or tested for accuracy and are sold as collectable/display items as pictured.
