Collection of vintage The Daily News newspapers and newspaper sections from Longview, Washington documenting Mount St. Helens before, during and after the historic 1980 eruption, along with later follow-up issues.
This lot contains material from 16 different dates spanning March 1980 through the 20th anniversary in May 2000. Several pieces are partial newspapers or individual sections rather than complete editions.
Together they provide a fascinating chronological look at local reporting from the communities closest to Mount St. Helens.
