Both plates bear the printed Coronaware factory backstamp incorporating the crown emblem, S. Hancock & Sons, Stoke-on-Trent, England and the pattern name "Dragon". Additional hand-painted decorator or factory numbers appear beneath.

Dating to the early decades of the 20th century, these plates reflect the period's fascination with Oriental-inspired designs and richly coloured lustre ceramics.

Ideal for collectors of antique Staffordshire pottery, Hancock's Coronaware, dragon-themed ceramics or decorative Chinoiserie.

Both plates are in very good antique condition, displaying fine glaze crazing and minor age-related wear to the decorative finish and gilding.

No chips, cracks or repairs.

Please refer to the photographs for a detailed appreciation of their condition, colouring and decoration.
